The have_moicy List is an e-mail list discussing past, present and future projects of the original Holy Modal Rounders, Michael Hurley, Peter Stampfel, and Steve Weber, as well as allied artists including but not limited to other members of the Holy and Unholy Modal Rounders, the Fugs, the Bottlecaps, the Du-Tels, Jeffrey Frederick, the Dysfunctionells, Golden Delicious, and Baby Gramps. Our discussions include the music, upcoming gigs and other projects, availability of recordings, news, gossip, sightings, recollections of shows and encounters past, and related cultural stuff of interest to our little "cultlet" (not a veal cultlet, however).
The title comes from the great record (now available on CD from Rounder Records) "Have Moicy." We like the fact that it's the closes thing to a single recording that gets everyone involved with the "classic period" of the genre onto one disk. Conspicuously missing is Steve Weber, but we can't have everythign!

Subscribing and unsubscribing is done via a web page (click here to go right to it).
You may subscribe in immediate mode, digest (daily), and you may also unsubscribe.
Important: make sure you address is exacly the way your outgoing mail identifies you, or when you try to post a message to the list, it'll reject you! We all hate to be rejected... For example, you may think your address is einstein@princeton.edu but it's really einstein@mail.princeton.edu. If after your best efforts, you try to post to the list and it rejects you, try e-mailing yourself and looking at the sender's address, it may not be what you think of as your address. Delete your old subscription and resubscibe with that address.
If all else fails contact the list mechanic and ask for help.
